A new Operation Bahamas and Turks and Caicos (OPBAT) base located in Inagua was opened today.
The base will allow OPBAT officers to better patrol areas of the Southern Bahamas, increasing response times of US Coast Guard and Royal Bahamas Defence Force aircraft and boats.
