EDITOR, The Tribune.

This is my first letter to The Tribune and I hope others will follow me.
I am flabbergasted and angry at the front page story of Friday, May 30, 2014 entitled “Spending to increase for 30 Ministries and departments”.

The government tells us to tighten our belts and live on the same as last year, while they borrow $343,000,000. What an example.

I suggest it is time the people rise up and demand greater accountability.

A missing ministry was “The Ministry of Agriculture” with no increase.

I thought this would have been considered a priority.
