Chamber gets on the move

The Bahamas Chamber of Commerce and Employers Confederation (BCCEC) will introduce its ‘Board of Directors on the Move’ initiative on June 18, in a bid to provide more accessibility to its members .

BCCEC Board meetings will be hosted at the offices of current members, allowing direct interaction between the Chamber Board and its members so that each will have a greater understanding for what the other is doing.

Host companies will have the opportunity to make brief presentations on their products and services, and articulate the chief concerns affecting their operations. They will be able to join in the Board meeting to have an appreciation for what the BCCEC is involved with on a regular basis.

The BCCEC’s directors and staff are committed to fostering connections between itself and its members to increase the awareness of each side’s challenges and concerns.

With 15 divisions, the Chamber aims to be a catalyst for change, providing many avenues for its members to positively influence the policies impacting the country.

The first host of the ‘Board of Directors on the Move’ initiative will be the Bristol Group of Companies, a long-standing member of the BCCEC.

Sounds good. Hopefully they will highlight some of their successes (and their goals) on their website - so people can know what they are doing.
