Hotel chain renames its Paradise Island resort

Warwick International Hotels (WIH) is set to rename the 245-room Paradise Island Harbour Resort as ‘Paraiso by Warwick’, its first four-star resort in the Caribbean.

The hotel chain unveiled the new name, details on the planned resort renovation and a model room at the Bahamas International Travel Partners Conference, presented by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and the Nassau /Paradise Island Promotion Board.

‘Paraiso by Warwick’ is scheduled to open in early 2015 overlooking Nassau Harbour and the Atlantic Ocean inlet.

“Warwick International Hotels is very selective and thoughtful when it comes to expanding our collection,” said Richard Chiu, its founder and president.

“Each hotel or resort is unique. In this resort, we feel we have brought all the elements together to create one of the premier resorts on the island, and we’re looking forward to our first property in this part of the world.”

‘Paraiso by Warwick’ will offer amenities such as:

  • 245 spacious guest rooms and suites, with a choice of views on the Harbour or Paradise Island

  • Free Wi-Fi throughout the resort

  • Four restaurants, including a main buffet restaurant and two a la carte specialty restaurants

  • Two bars, including a pool-side pizza bar and a lobby bar

  • Fitness Centre & Spa
