BFSB, regulator gain a 'captive' audience

The Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) and the Insurance Commission of the Bahamas (ICB) attended the annual Risk & Insurance Management Society [RIMS] conference that took place in Denver from April 27 - 30.

With nearly 10,000 registrants and more than 400 exhibitors attending the annual conference, the BFSB and ICB were at RIMS to promote the captive insurance advantages that exist in the Bahamas.

RIMS is the largest gathering of risk managers and practitioners, and continues to be one of the leading forums to gain access to business prospects and learn of trends and business strategies.

The Bahamas representatives included (from L to R) Jamell Bodie (ICB); Janelle Sands (BFSB); Aliya Allen (BFSB); Michele Fields (ICB); and Emmanuel Komolafe, (Colina Holdings Bahamas).
