Moxey resigns as Port vice-president

THE Grand Bahama Port Authority (GBPA) and Port Group (PGL) yesterday announced the resignation of vice-president Ginger Moxey.

Her resignation will take effect on June 1, 2014. Mrs Moxey will be leaving the GBPA after nearly 28 years to pursue other personal interests.

“I am so proud to have been a part of the GBPA family for almost 28 years. This relationship has created many moments of personal achievement and fulfillment, for which I am grateful. My greatest moments, throughout this journey, were those that involved impacting lives in a positive way,” said Mrs Moxey.

“The philosophy, by which I live… ‘We should all be helping others’, has caused me to pursue my passion for our people, our culture, our communities and our experiences, through community development initiatives.”

GBPA president, Ian Rolle praised Mrs Moxey for her service to the group. “It is with sadness that we officially announce today’s resignation. She has been an integral component in the fulfillment of the company’s mission ‘to better the lives of the Grand Bahama community,” Mr Rolle added.”
