Deep Water Cay showcases nation

The Deep Water Cay (DWC) resort has helped to showcase the Bahamas to the world after being featured on Fox Sun Sports Network last weekend via ScubaNation, reaching five million households.

Deep Water Cay ‘Private Diving Paradise’ was the title of the show, which featured Deep Water Cay divemaster, Phillip Russell, as he took the team from ScubaNation on a two-day diving and snorkeling trip in East End, Grand Bahama.

“The experience with ScubaNation was unbelievable,” said Mr Russell. “Although I didn’t really like being on TV before, they changed all of that, and I can’t wait until the episode starts airing at Deep Water Cay.”

Mr Russell was excited to show off both his diving skills and the resort for the TV show, and hopes he can continue to show the amenities offered at DWC. “I love Deep Water Cay, I’ve been having a great time since I started working here, and hope I can continue diving with DWC for a long time,” he added.

The DWC management team were thankful to all the staff that helped to make ScubaNation’s visit to the resort such a successful one. “Thanks to their dedication and hard work there was an outstanding outcome,” said Buzz Cox, general manager. “And the show will be aired on TVs around the resort.”

Diving and snorkeling have been a great addition to the amenities at Deep Water Cay. “I am totally impressed with the video that was produced for Deep Water Cay,” said Mr Cox. “Their professionalism, awesome content, and over-the-top enthusiasm made the video, coupled with our excellent divemaster, Phillip, we could not have asked for, or expected a better job.”

“When the resort and people who run it are that spectacular it makes our job easy,” said Billy Catoggio, president and co-host of ScubaNation. “We love working with Deep Water Cay and want to continue to do everything we can to keep sharing the message to help put them on the scuba diving world map.”
