Well, I've heard about dead people voting so why not dead cops being promoted? Is this a pension promotion??? Only in the Bahamas.

of course it is a financial promotion. Didn't know we had that many police officers. I thank the honest ones amongst them for their service to the Country and all of us.

I was actually referring to police Sergeant 2306 Cooper-Saunders who died on August 17th but was posthumously promoted to Assistant Inspector in the recent round of promotions. See Nassau Guardian story page A6. Like you I thank the honest among them for their service and sacrifice.

Promotions and accolades while Rome burns....... Yes there are a few good officers left, completely outnumbered by the incompetent or corrupt.
