FNM Constitution breached

EDITOR, The Tribune.

The FNM Constitution mandates that 56 days notice must be given before a convention can be held so as to allow delegates to submit “any proposed alterations or amendments to the Constitution”.

In his haste to set a date for the convention, Dr. Minnis gave only 42 days notice, which is in breach of the FNM Constitution.

A new date and time would have to be set by the Leader in order to be in compliance with the Constitution of our party by which we are governed.

FNM DELEGATE
