Please allow me space in your columns to address two questions to our illustrious Prime Minister, the Rt Hon. Perry Christie:

1. When you addressed the United Nations on the potentially disastrous effects of climate change on the Bahamas, did you tell them that you are turning the oil industry loose to drill for oil in our crystal clear waters?

2. Did you tell them that you were “handsomely rewarded” as a legal consultant to the oil industry, in my opinion one of the most environmentally dirty industries in the world, when you were Leader of the Opposition?
