TRANSPORT and Aviation officials reported on Wednesday afternoon that a twin-engine Piper Aztec plane made an emergency landing at Lynden Pindling International Airport (LPIA).
Shortly after 3pm, airport officials were informed that a plane en route from San Salvador with six people on board would have to make an emergency landing at LPIA.
Officials told The Tribune that quick action by airport emergency personnel allowed the aircraft to land successfully at 3.20pm.
