THE ROYAL Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) yesterday announced the death of retired Deputy Commissioner of Police Errol E Farquharson.

Mr Farquharson passed away on Monday afternoon. Assistant Commissioner of Police Stephen Dean said the cause of death is still unknown.

In a brief statement on the RBDF’s website, Commissioner of Police Ellison Greenslade extended condolences to Mr Farquharson’s family.

“It is with regret and deep sadness that Commissioner of Police Ellison Greenslade records the death of Deputy Commissioner of Police (retired) Mr Errol E Farquharson, who passed away on Monday April 3, 2017,” the statement noted.

“Condolences are extended to his relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later date. May his soul rest in peace.”
