When in Rome . . .

EDITOR, The Tribune.

INVESTORS spend/invest billions and create restaurants which are all of an international theme - does this make any sense?

When I travel - and I am fortunate to have done a lot - I look for the indigenous restaurants of the place I am visiting. Why would I want to eat Bahamian food in Beijing or New York?

It is totally laughable that our mega resorts are allowed to open these international themed restaurants - surely when in Rome do as the Romans do, this should be the mantra of Bahamian Tourism? At least Atlantis management see this and I suggest they are going to be enormously successful with their new ‘Bahamianed’ - policy.
