WHAT an astonishing phenomenon this is - someone who seems to care less about political expedience than his concern for fellow human beings.
A defiant, principled action the likes of which we are not used to seeing from our leaders. No doubt some knuckle-dragging, xenophobic critics will ensure he’ll have to justify it for the rest of his political life.
PS: He may not be brave in name, but he certainly is in this particular deed.
