THE Bahamas Flag Football League sent an All-Star ladies’ team to compete in the Tournament of Champions flag football tournament in Las Vegas. Thirteen teams competed and after day 1 of the tournament, the Bahamas would finish with a 1-2 win-loss record and an overall ranking of 7th place. This ranking placed the Bahamas as the top seeded team in the North American Division of the tournament. After receiving a bye and winning their first game on day 2 of the tournament, the Bahamas would advance to the divisional championships. Unfortunately, their opponents, First String Flag Football Club from San Francisco, proved too strong and won the championship game 19-0. The Bahamas would finish in 8th place overall.
