Following its launch in 2017, Hubert Edwards Global will host its second annual Success Summit under the theme World Class success through Bold Leadership.
"We dub our presenters Success Advocates, as that is what they will do on the day", said Hubert Edwards. "These individuals will actually be advocating for the success of those in attendance. Our value proposition is that everyone who attends will become acutely aware of how to shift his or her thinking to one which is success centred. As a result, you will often hear us refer to Success Summit to as a mind-shift moment".
Success Summit 2018 will be held at Super Club Breezes, on December 1. One attendee at last year's event, Kendra G Munroe, a director of Toastmasters International, said: "The line-up was one that brought great anticipation; the delivery from each presenter was excellent sharing from their own perspective. Quality, time oriented and effective. Looking forward to next year."
Marvin Bain, a manager at Bahamas First, which facilitated the attendance of some of its staff members, added: "I was not able to make it out to the Summit. However, I spoke to our staff who attended and they all gave it rave reviews. I understand it was very well organised and the presenters were 'on point'. We look forward to the experience next year."
International speakers this year include Simone Edwards, a WNBA champion with Seattle Storm. Sergeant-major Peter Hall, a retired US Marine, will headline the event. Local speakers include Pastor Dave Burrows; former Cabinet minister Zhivargo Laing; Pastor Mario Moxey; Former House of Assembly speaker, Dr Kendal Major; Gowon Bowe; Duquessa Dean; Cheryl Bazard; Simmone Bowe; Valentino Munroe; Karlos Mackey and Carlos Palacious; Rodney Bain; Wellington Hepburn; Nathan Sweeting; and Donovan Rolle. Hubert Edwards will also be a presenter sharing on his success journey.
"Despite the financial outcome last year we are extremely proud to have supported The Pilot Club of Nassau with a donation of $1,000." said Mr Edwards. "This year we plan to extend at least two scholarship grants to students from the Bain Town area in honour of Dr Myles Munroe, and of one of our 2017 speakers, Michelle Miller, who grew up in that area and passed shortly after the event."
