A Grand Bahama man was charged in the Freeport Magistrate Court in connection with offences including unlawfully discharging a firearm.
Samiko Rigby, 32, of Hepburn Town, Eight Mile Rock, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson.
He was charged with wantonly discharging a firearm, two counts of assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and disorderly behaviour. He pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Rigby was granted $2,000 bail for the first offence, and $1,500 bail with two sureties for each of the other two offences.
The matters were adjourned to November 23, 2020.
In a separate matter, two men were charged with assault with a deadly weapon in connection with a matter that occurred on September 5.
Antonio Johnson, 29, of No 11 Berkeley Drive; and Alfred Harris age 20 years of No 41 Edgar Place, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
Chief Magistrate Ferguson told the men bail was denied and adjourned the matter to November 17, 2020, for trial.
