THREE men were charged with armed robbery in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday.

Bradwin Johnson, 23, Lamar Wilchcombe, 22, and Clydon Stubbs, 24, appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes after they were accused of using a handgun to rob a man of a $50 car part on March 25.

Due to the nature of the charge, none of the accused were required to enter a plea and the matter was adjourned to May 3 for service of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).

In the meantime, Johnson, Wilchcombe and Stubbs were denied bail and remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services.

They all have a right to apply to the Supreme Court for bail.
