Teen on probation after causing harm to a woman

A MALE TEENAGER was placed on a year’s probation in court yesterday after he admitted to injuring a woman.

The 17-year-old appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney on a charge of causing harm.

It is said that around 1.40am at Milton Street on February 4 after a physical argument the accused injured Dennisia Gardiner.

In court, he pleaded guilty. He was placed on one year’s probation and ordered to pay the complainant $250. If he defaults, he will face a fine of $500 or spend three months in prison.
