Sylvan Ernest Sawyer, age 85, of Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, The Bahamas, passed away on Thursday, 1st December, 2016 at Doctors Hospital, Collins Avenue, Nassau.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, Josie Sawyer.
He is survived by his children, Stan, Brian and Dale Sawyer, Elaine Lowe, Susan Roberts and Pamela Bethel; daughters-in-law; Julia, Caroline and Laura Sawyer; sons-in-law, Carlton Lowe, Sandy Roberts & Marcus Bethel; grandchildren, Michael & Roland Roberts, Michelle Torres, Shana Lowe, Brittany Ruz, Eric, Lori, Matthew and Cole Sawyer, Felisa Mathurin & Ronel Escarment; great grandchildren, Mila and Anderson Torres and Noah Mathurin; grandsons-in-law, Andy Torres, Yoan Ruz & Silvio Mathurin; sisters, Sheila Roberts, Sylvia Vaughn, Gloria Chiodo and Joy Lowe; brothers, Christopher and Jeremiah Sawyer; sisters-in-law, Rosie, Ann, Evelyn and Barbara Sawyer; brothers-in-law, David Vaughn and David Chiodo and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
A Celebration service will be held at New Plymouth Gospel Chapel, Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, on Wednesday, 28th December 2016 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Abaco Cancer Society, Marsh Harbour, Abaco.
