Funeral service for the late Donald Deveaux aged 79 years of #10 Windsor Place and formerly of Green Castle, Eleuthera, who died on 23rd December, 2015, will be held on Saturday, 9th January, 2016, at 11 a.m., at Wesley Methodist Church (MCCA), Malcolm Road East. Officiating will be Rev. Cecil Newbold. Interment will follow in the Western Cemetery, Nassau Street. Left to cherish fond memories are his Best Friend and Confidant: Louise Stuart; Five Children: Donald, Eddison, Allison, Deoken and Ornald Deveaux; Stepsons: Ian Stuart and Pedro Adams; Three Siblings: Min. Leotha Deveaux-Curry, Alfred and Floyd Deveaux of Green Castle, Eleuthera; One Daughter-in-law: Tracey Deveaux; Grandchildren: De’Abrel, Taeyon and Justin Deveaux, Keleina Curtis, Andrew Stubbs, Chandera, Stephanie and Shawn Butler and Alexander Saunders; Numerous nieces and nephews including: Delores and William Morris, Leon, Howard, Donna and Cecil ‘Cassie’ Evans of Rock Sound Eleuthera; Ivan Deveaux, Lovely Johnson, Shirley Lightbourne, Beryl, Eleanor, Glen and Sargeant 321 Terrance and Cameron Smith, Sandra and Craig Mortimer, Patsy Powell, Joan and Brent Stubbs, Iris and Davon Adderley, Pedro Mejias, Apostles Denise and Ivry Johnson, Kenneth, Darlene, Felicia, Jermaine, Steven, Dwayne, Atika and Tino Deveaux, Viola Mackey, Carlene Nixon, Perry, Kenly and Keno Ferguson, Monique Johnson, Bettina and Belinda Duncombe, Dr. Scarlett, David, Fabian, Telnear, Nicola, Jennymae, Shamille and Enid Stuart and Lisa Williams (Tampa Bay, FL.); Seven Brothers and Sisters-In-Law: Nellie Smith, Marjorie Deveaux, Annamae Ferguson, Inez, Holbrook, Reuben and Octavius Stuart; Numerous great-grand children, grandnieces and grandnephews. Other relatives and friends including: Anthony Pratt, Peso, Clayton Smith, Randy Dean, Oral Pinder, Tina Allen Gibson and D.C. Towing. Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Newbold Brothers Funeral Home, Palmetto Avenue & Acklins Street, off Market and East Streets on Friday from 10:00 a.m., until 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m., until service time.
