Funeral service for the late Mr. Andrew Melvin Newton age 59 years of Twynam Heights will be held on Saturday, November 11th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Church, Shirley Street. Officiating will be Rev. L. Carla R. Culmer assisted by Rev. Dr. Colin Archer. Interment will follow in Ebenezer Church Cemetery, Shirley Street.
Mourning his earthly loss and rejoicing in his heavenly inheritance are his beloved wife of 35 years: Shena Newton; son: Lofton Newton ; daughter: Sheandra Newton; grandson: Zephyr Andrew Newton; Brothers: Donald Newton; Three sisters: Agatha Forbes-Newton, Theodora Newton and Sharon Cox; Two aunts: Valerie Darville and Margaret Cunningham; Brothers-in-law: Cory Roberts, Linwood Roberts and Carl Cox; Mother-in-law: Mrs. Rena Roberts; Sisters-in-law: Brenda Newton, Karen Sands of Atlanta, Georgia and Vastie Roberts; Nieces: Venissa Ellis, Tanya Rahming-Kelly, Tania Charlton, Kiki Gardiner, Ingrid Cox-Russell, Kayla Rahming-Glinton, Lynette Newton-Joseph, Bernadette Storr, Hollis Cox, Marcia Cox-Mackey, Cherriqua Taylor, Carlina Cox-Rolle, Staciford Forbes and Starleta Forbes; Nephews: Stephen Wilson, Derek Wilson, Collin Newton, Marco Newton, Clement Newton, Shawn Newton, Quinton Rahming, Terrell Roberts, Andrew Hanna and Patrick Seymour, Jr.; A host of grand nieces, grand nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held in the Irenic Suite at Restview Memorial Mortuary and Crematorium Ltd., Robinson and Soldier Roads on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until service time.
