Funeral service for Gertrude Gaitor, 86 yrs., a resident of Robinson Road & formerly of Mastic Point, Andros, will be held at Holy Cross Anglican Church, Soldier Road, on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be Canon Peter Scott & Fr. Travis Fernander. Interment follows in Old Trail Cemetery, Old Trail Road.
Gertrude is survived by: Brothers: Elijah Clarke, Zephaniah, Michael and Stephen Rolle; Sisters: Sally Rolle Dill, Millicent Rolle Miller and Bloneva Rolle; Nieces including: Vernice Knowles and family, Stephanie Mathurn, Linda Sears Bridgewater, Wendy Colebrooke, Lorraine Wallace of Baltimore, Maryland, Inga Morris and family, Desiree Brown, Nicole Rolle, Tanya Francis of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Anna Miller, Shenika Bridgewater, Nickla and Anise Mathurn, Tasha Miller of Florida and Christine Adderley; Nephews including: Vernal Cox and family, Omar Rolle, Jeffery Simon, Jamal Johnson, Cory West, Javon West, Pedro, Jerome, Darrell and Keno. A host of other relatives and friends including: Bishop Wilbur and family, Mary Rolle and family, Bloneva and Sheila Taylor of Miami Dade, Florida, Karline White, Juliet Bennett, Dennis and Damaris Dawkins, Kenneth Kelly, Mrs. Patricia Jervis, Sylvia Outten, Michelle Burrows, Holy Cross Church Family, Fr. Travis Fernander, Canon Peter Scott, Pat Marshall, Dr. Newbold of Agape Clinic, and the Highbury Park Community.
Friends may pay their last respects at Demeritte’s Funeral Home, Market Street, from 12-6:00 p.m. on Friday & on Saturday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
