YESTERDAY’S press reports about the creation, in the aftermath of Hurricane Dorian, of a new ministry to deal with disasters will no doubt be widely welcomed.
Shanty town debris will be cleared
IRAM Lewis, the new minister of state for disaster preparedness, recovery and reconstruction, said the government will contract companies to remove debris from The Mudd and Pigeon Peas.
