The Bahamas used last week’s 35th Monaco Yacht Show to launch its ‘Dock, Anchor and Discover’ campaign designed to drive increased boating traffic to this nation.

The Ministry of Tourism, in a statement, said the initiative aims to increase The Bahamas’ share of the global super-yacht market by exposing the various products, services and experiences this nation offers. It added that its presence in Monaco was the start of a push to make this nation a super-yacht hub by making inroads into the European boating market.

The Bahamian delegation, led by Randy Rolle, parliamentary secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, presented the country’s marinas, fixed base operations (FBOs) and on-demand services, such as provisioning and concierge offerings, to show visitors. United Shipping, The Agency Shipping & Logistics, Corcoran C.A. Christie and Four Seasons Ocean Club were present alongside the Ministry of Tourism.

Mr Rolle led meetings with brokers, yacht owners and captains to build the relationships needed to capture a greater share of the super-yacht market. "Impact, not just visibility, is what brought The Bahamas to Monaco this year," he said.

"We have the infrastructure, the proximity and the unmatched natural beauty to serve as a year-round destination hub, and we have made it simpler for yachts to come and experience all of it. More boaters are choosing our marinas this year than last, and Monaco was about making The Bahamas not only top-of-mind but the preferred choice for owners, captains and industry leaders."

The four-day Monaco Yacht Show featured 560 exhibitors, ranging from super-yacht builders and brokers to designers and equipment suppliers. The Ministry of Tourism promoted the simpler entry process for visiting boaters that launched on April 1, 2026, featuring 30-day, six-month and 12-month cruising permits with no anchorage fees for marina-berthed vessels.
