FIFTEEN representatives from various Bahamas Financial Services Board (BFSB) member firms are participating in the Bahamas Brand Ambassador programme, which is attempting to identify professionals who exhibit the industry's best qualities. Three Bahamas Brand Ambassadors will eventually be selected by an industry committee, and will become the faces of the industry in the Bahamas during a campaign to promote a cohesive message of The Bahamas Advantage - the new branding theme - throughout the industry. The Bahamas Advantage promotes the advantages this nation provides as a financial services jurisdiction. "The Bahamas Brand Ambassador campaign recognises the diversity in our workforce, and that each financial services professional contributes in some way to the overall success of the industry," said Wendy Warren, BFSB's chief executive and executive director. "We encourage you to vote for our participants by visiting the Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bahamas-Financial-Brand-Ambassador/128057093959511?sk=wall, and clicking 'like' to the professional(s) you believe most personify the character and voice of the industry: warm, experienced, trustworthy and diligent." The 10 applicants with the most 'likes' by December 16 will each appear on a one-minute video, from which a committee will select three Bahamas Brand Ambassadors.
