THE COUNTRY'S 25th murder victim for the year has been identified as 29-year-old Stefanno Murphy. Murphy was found dead Tuesday night in the Pinewood Gardens area. Police say the victim was standing outside a home on St John's Avenue when he was approached by a man and shot several times. He died at the scene. Police are still uncertain about the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information to contact them by calling 919, the Central Detective Unit on 502-9991 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 328-TIPS.
