NINE Bahamians last week graduated from training at The Guild of Professional English Butlers, part of a move by Sandals Royal Bahamian to expand its butler staff. Some 21 butler rooms in its newly renovated Balmoral Towers will come on line soon. Patrick Drake, general manager of Sandals Royal Bahamian, congratulated Latoya Archer, Kimberly Arnett, Levi Eneas, Thomas Lowe, Saronte Kemp, Lakera McIntosh, Dianna Fortune, plus Cicylea Dorsett and Antonio Rolle, who both graduated with distinctions. "They all come from a wide range of departments on property, the spa, photo shop, food and beverage, and they all exemplify what we at Sandals Royal Bahamian view as providers of excellent service. The improvements to the Balmoral mean a whole new set of opportunities for our team members" Mr. Drake said. There are currently 20 butlers that render their service to the property's other two room blocks, The Windsor and The Royal Village. The Balmoral's 21 new butler rooms feature en-suite bathrooms inclusive of his and her vanity, and oversized patios allowing guests to have spectacular views of the ocean. Large balconies were added to 35 of the ocean view rooms. An additional 11 ground-floor rooms have now become walk-out rooms, providing direct access on to the newly-finished white concrete pool deck, which incorporates local fauna and conch shells. Beachfront fire pits and an expanded lounge area complete the Balmoral Tower's new look.
