Be careful with the facts

EDITOR, The Tribune. THOSE wanting to be leaders should be careful to report the facts. I am appalled to hear Bran McCartney say that Manifesto 2007 is nothing but a list of broken promises. McCartney served in the Ingraham administration as Minister of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration with responsibility for Immigration. In keeping with Manifesto 2007, he conducted regular repatriation exercises, albeit that, when he donned his camouflage, he failed to say that he was continuing where the Minister of State before him had left off, nor has he acknowledged that, even with him gone, these regular exercises continue....Is the public to believe that this was a pure McCartney initiative? If McCartney cannot give a true report on something so simple, how can we trust him with greater things? What manner of leader is this? I would also like to know if Mr McCartney is the only person in his party with a voice? TIRED OF THE HYPOCRISY Nassau, February 1, 2012.
