IN AN ongoing effort to keep congregants and members of the surrounding community informed about topical civic and social issues, Calvary Deliverance Church hosted a forum called "The Electoral Process". Parliamentary Commissioner Errol Bethel was the main presenter. He was invited to share details about the voting process with members of the audience, based on concerns about the possibility of ballots being spoiled because of simple human errors. The commissioner discussed the legal aspects of his role prior to and during the electoral process as well as the role of some of his officers. He also informed the gathering of the historical development of voting in the Bahamas. After the presentation Mr Bethel entertained questions from the audience.
