By LAMECH JOHNSON Tribune Staff Reporter ljohnson@tribunemedia.net A MAN from the nation's second city was arraigned in Magistrates Court yesterday in connection fraud crimes committed a decade ago. Leroy Bowe, 42, of Freeport, Grand Bahama, appeared before Magistrate Guillimina Archer in Court 10, Nassau Street facing four charges of fraud by false pretences. It is claimed Bowe used a fake name, Leroy Glenn Miller, to obtain four government issued documents between March and August 2002. On March 28 of that year, he allegedly obtained a National Insurance card using the fake name, and obtained a voters card on April 3. In July, he obtained a Bahamian passport before getting a drivers licence on August 28, it is alleged. The Drum Fish Drive resident denied the allegations and pleaded not guilty. He was granted $10,000 bail after the prosecution offered no objection, and was ordered to return to court for trial on October 29.
