FREEPORT: A 44-year-old man is in police custody in connection with a stabbing that left a 35-year-old man in hospital over the weekend.
The incident happened at around 4am on Saturday at a business establishment on East Sunrise Highway.
When police arrived at the scene, they found a man with a stab wound in his chest.
The victim, a resident of Sea Horse Village, was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital, where he is detained. A man is helping police with inquiries.
