MAYNARD: ROAD TO BE RENAMED FREEDOM FARM WAY

DURING the opening of the Freedom Farm Baseball League on Saturday, Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture, Charles Maynard confirmed that the road from Yamacraw Road leading to the field will be renamed Freedom Farm Way. Mr Maynard, however, did not disclose exactly when it will take place, but he commended all of the volunteers, who have helped to make the league a vibrant one. Member of Parliament for Elizabeth, Ryan Pinder; FNM candidate for Elizabeth, Dr. Dwayne Sands and DNA candidate Charlene Paul all addressed parents, coaches and players. Former Major League Ed Armbrister of the Cincinnati Reds, and President of the BBF, Mr. Craig Kemp brought greetings as well.
