PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AP) -- A Haitian official says the death toll from the collision of a dump truck and a bus has risen to eight. Mayor Santos Alexis of Leogane said Saturday that three people died after being taken to a hospital. Five others died at the scene on Friday. Authorities say the truck rear-ended the bus as it let off passengers at an intersection in western Haiti. The bus then struck several motorcycle riders, killing three of them. One of two pedestrians died after the bus hit a utility pole and snapped a wire that fell and electrocuted her.
