By JEFFARAH GIBSON Tribune Features Writer VETERAN Bahamian photographer Richard Hokemier is celebrating his 71st birthday with a photo exhibit this Saturday at the Poopdeck West. Of the 200 images that will be on display at the event this Saturday, seventy of them are recent works by the photographer. "I have both new photos that I took recently and photos that I took some time ago. They will all be on display at the event and I am happy to share my work with viewers," he said. Mr Hokemier's camera goes everywhere with him, so he does not miss any spontaneous moments. He said one of his goals is to help viewers see the things he sees with his third eye. "I have been shooting in the Bahamas for many years formerly for Dupuch Publications and Your Photographer Ltd. I specialise in fine art photography with ten shows per year locally. "We have also covered international court cases such as John Travolta, Anna Nicole Smith, Barefoot Bandit, etc and work with TMZ, Access Hollywood. We also specialise in family portraits, christenings, small weddings and functions.
