DNA leader Branville McCartney said his party is committed to redefining the role of government if they are victorious at the polls.
Speaking at his party's "good governance" town meeting at the Hilton last night, Mr McCartney said the DNA believes in "participatory governance".
He said: "That means that as your next government, we work for and with all - not just for and with a selected few or those who supported us. We work for all.
"Translation: this also means that as your government we recognise that we work for you, not the other way around.
"And therefore we find it most important that as a government we involve the collective intelligence of our citizens and those who have a legal right to be here to participate in the decision-making process.
"For instance, we would not have diverted from our pre-election position and sold the majority of shares in BTC without the input of you as our employers."
Pointing to the massive road improvement project, Mr McCartney said that his government would not have engaged in such a project without first examining its impact on small businesses.
"That is what a 21st century government, a government with foresight, a government that respects people, would do," he said.
"The DNA has committed to redefining the role of government. Since our launch, we have had six town meetings: crime and the fear of crime, immigration, education, jobs and the economy, family and social development, and tonight culminates our town meetings with good governance."
