COLLAGE Entertainment did not disappoint fans with the release of the team’s first feature film, “Get Charlie”.

Galleria Cinemas JFK screened the comedy last week Wednesday and Thursday. Some of Collage Entertainment’s most loyal fans sounded off on the group’s Facebook page following the premiere.

One fan said: “I went to see the movie “Get Charlie” tonight. It was done by some friends of mine. I was really impressed with what I saw. The movie was great. It keep us laughing from beginning to end. The story line was really good and it was all very well done and put together, but the thing that stuck me the most and what I really loved was how my Bahamian people came out to support these young men.”

“The theater was packed for both nights of the showing. I so love to see when we as Bahamians back and support our own. These young men are doing a wonderful job going after their dreams and making them reality. Something that should be highlighted more in our country, young people doing great things,” said a fan.
The comedic tale is a typical boy meets girl story told through the eyes of a “joneser” by the name of Chris. According to the group, the film was created to have audience members ask questions such as: How far will a man go in the name of love? And what is the community’s role in raising a child? Someone has to “Get Charlie” before he destroys himself.

Collage Entertainment is well known for its viral video sensation “Stop Likin Man”. But the group has grown sigificantly since its YouTube debut.

A Facebook fan said: “That movie was amazing. If you didn’t see it, you miss out big time and I am really proud of the cast and everyone else that collaborated in putting such humorous movie together. I can’t wait for part two.”
“Man I laughed so hard and so long I got a headache. It was totally great. I’m so proud of you guys, just waiting on the DVD. I promise to buy and not burn,” said another fan.
