A DEAF man appeared in Magistrate’s Court yesterday in connection with the near-fatal shooting and attempted armed robbery of a 14-year-old girl.
However, because of 22-year-old Raynard Johnson’s impairment, his arraignment on attempted murder and attempted armed robbery charges were deferred until today, so an interpreter could be found.
According to court dockets, it is claimed that Johnson, of Sir Lynden Pindling Estates, attempted to rob and cause the death of Ashley Storr on December 2 while armed with a handgun.
