It is alleged that on Sunday, October 28, Thompson, being concerned with another and armed with a handgun, robbed man of his blue 2006 Honda Accord valued at $39,139, a Bahamian drivers license valued at $20, and $150 cash.

It is also alleged that on that same day, Thompson, being concerned with another and armed with a handgun, robbed a woman of a Bahamian drivers licence valued at $20 and $60 cash.

He is also accused of dishonestly receiving a blue 2006 Honda Accord valued at $39,139, knowing it was obtained by means of an offence.

Because of the nature of the charges, Magistrate Gomez said, Thompson is not eligible for bail in the Magistrate’s Court, but can apply to the Supreme Court.

The matter was adjourned until April 23 and Thompson was remanded into police custody for the duration of the hearing.
