MORE than 150,000 persons were registered on the new voter register as of Wednesday, compared to the 132,611 persons in March of 2007.
Thus far, Bain and Grants Town constituency has the largest number of registered voters with 5,263 persons, and MICAL (Mayaguana, Inagua, Crooked Island and Acklins ) has the smallest with 1,128 persons.
From the last elections held in 2007, the Blue Hills constituency had the largest number of registered voters with 5,141 persons, with MICAL still being the constituency with the least - 1,157.
Currently, in New Providence the total number of registered voters was 106,833, in the Family Islands 23,138, and in Grand Bahama 22,513.
Compared to the last election the total number of voters for each region has increased.
