A DOUBLE shooting yesterday has landed two brothers known to police in hospital, one is in serious condition after suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
Though unconfirmed, the victims of the shooting are believed to be 30-year-old Jamal Glinton and 24-year-old Lance Glinton, both residents of Nassau Village.
The incident reportedly took place in the Robinson Road area around noon after the two victims were involved in a confrontation with another described as a rasta.
It is said that the "rasta" left the area on foot, but returned shortly afterwards, when he shot the Glinton brothers.
The elder brother was shot in his thigh while the younger was wounded in his right side, right arm and the mid-section of his body.
They were both taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital by ambulance.
Police are investigating and are asking for anyone with information to contact them.
- A MAN wanted by police for questioning in connection with threats of death and arson turned himself in less than 24 hours after a wanted ad was posted for his arrest.
Colin Irvin Thomas Bastian, 50, of Summer Haven, turned himself in to police yesterday morning at the Cable Beach police station.
The South Beach resident is believed to be a suspect in the recent blaze at Orange Hill that destroyed the second floor of a split level home Tuesday morning.
Firefighters had been alerted to the blaze around 6am and responded with several units to extinguish the blaze.
According to fire chief Walter Evans, the fire was brought under control and extinguished around 7am, an hour after they were called.
