During a special service, Rector Canon Curtis Robinson, recognised and congratulated Dr Conville S. Brown and the management and staff of the Bahamas Heart Centre for celebrating 22 years of service excellence in the Bahamas.

In his special anniversary remarks, Dr Brown told of his youthful beginnings, his growing up and personal involvement in Christ the King Anglican Church, as he puts it from the cutting of the bush for the foundation way back in 1965 through present.

Dr Brown thanked his immediate family - wife, Dr Corinne Sin Quee-Brown and three children, Stephan, Corey and Chelsea, for their continued love and support. He also recognised his mother, Mrs Virginia Brown-Fox; Head Nurse Celeste King-Dorsett, and his step-father John Fox, Lawrence Brown (Brother), Mercelita Obrien and Willamae Hepburn, all of whom have been with him from the early beginnings of the Bahamas Heart Centre.

In honor of the Bahamas Heart Centre’s 22nd Anniversary, and with a giving heart, Dr Brown blessed the church with 22 hymnals and prayer books especially to accommodate visitors.

Dr Brown closed his remarks by reaffirming one of his objectives in life and imploring his staff and family to continue “Striving for excellence with a hearty smile while ensuring affordable access to all via Partnered Care as we continue to serve those whom we are privileged to serve.” He also wished and prayed for God’s continued blessings and guidance for all involved in the Bahamas Heart Centre and the service they provide.
