He remains faithful

By PASTOR MATTHEW ALLEN

IF we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, for he cannot deny himself. (2 Tim. 2: 13)

The word faithful in Greek is Pistos, which has several meanings: (1) trustworthy, (2) sure, and (3) true.

The passage references the one true god (Yahweh), the god of Israel, the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, who is forever faithful, trustworthy, sure and true.

As god and his word are one, it is imperative that we hold onto the only trustworthy, sure and true thing that we have today, which is the word of god.

Why? Because whenever god's word goes forth, he watches over his word to perform it.

Jer.1: 12. states: "Then said the lord unto me, thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it."

Whatever unpleasant situation you happen to be in right now, god is forever faithful to his covenant relationship with you. It is just a matter of confessing and returning to the covenant.

1 John 1: 9 states: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

God's faithfulness towards humanity is not based upon religion, but rather upon a genuine relationship with him through the shed blood of his only begotten son, Yahshua Messiah (Jesus the Christ).

Can you imagine what can be accomplished both spiritually and naturally when we really exercise our faith? As we know in the physical realm, money, gold, silver, oil and other precious commodities are the tools that get things moving.

Likewise in the spiritual realm, faith is the tool, currency or substance that gets things moving, or causes god to move on our behalf.

Do you remember the situation with the woman who had the issue of blood spoken about in Matthew 9:20, Mark 5:24 and Luke 8:43? Here is what Yahshua said to this woman in Luke: "And he said unto her, daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace"

Isn't it interesting that Yahshua did not say, it was your tithes and offerings that made this happen for you, or it is because you have sowed a special financial seed into my life or ministry that you have been healed. Instead, he spoke to faith.

As soon as today's Christians get a genuine working revelation of faith and understand how to exercise their faith, they will no longer become victims of the many pulpit charlatans.

Here is an acronym for faith: F-for; A-all; I; T-trust; H-him. The dynamics of faith is so vast and so powerful in that having just a little faith that is the size of a mustard seed can make tremendous power available.

Matthew 17: 20 states: "And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."

As aforementioned, I do sincerely believe in the financial prosperity of god's people as prosperity is a part of our covenant right. But, it is of the utmost importance that saints be taught the foundations of faith and how it pleases god.

Hebrew 11: 6 state: "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to god must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

Saints, it is time to activate your faith.
