A 51-YEAR-OLD man was allegedly abducted at gunpoint, tied up, robbed of his car and then dumped in South Beach where he wasn't discovered for more than a day.
The victim was sitting in his car at Cowpen Road at around 5.30pm on Friday when he was approached by two men allegedly armed with handguns.
The two armed men robbed the victim of his 2008 Kia Sorento, tied him up and took him to South Beach.
He was discovered the next day at about 7.15pm and taken to hospital via EMS personnel where his condition was described as stable. Police investigations are ongoing.
In a separate investigation, two men are in police custody after being found in possession of a handgun and a quantity of ammunition.
At about 11pm on Friday, Rapid Strike officers acting on information went to Commonwealth Boulevard in Elizabeth Estates where they conducted a search of a grey Honda Accord and discovered the items.
A 21-year-old Pastel Gardens man and a 25-year-old Pinewood Gardens man are in custody.
In another investigation, a 24-year-old man of Eneas Street was arrested in connection with an early morning burglary.
It happened shortly before 6am on Saturday at a Coral Lakes residence.
Rapid Strike officers arrested the suspect at about 11pm on Saturday in East Street.
