AN APPRECIATION luncheon was held at Bahamas National Trust on April 27 to honour Environment Minister Earl Deveaux, who is retiring from politics after next week's election.
In attendance were Permanent Secretary Diana Lightbourne and department heads from the Ministry of the Environment, the Met Office, the BEST Commission, the Bahamas National Trust, the Port Department, the Department of Physical Planning, the Department of Environmental Health, BEC, BTC and WSC.

Maybe the Executives over at the Bahamas National Trust can explain to the natives why is it that they decided to honor the high, free-flying 16 seater luxury Helicopter Comrade Earl. How much did they spend to honor Earl?
