JURORS of the John Bull Rolex Boutique robbery trial were excused again, this time until May 21 when all current legal issues are expected to be resolved.

The nine member jury, which was empanelled on May 8 for the trial of accused robbers Jasper Curry, David Collins and Jonathan Armbrister, were told by Justice Indra Charles that their presence would not be required until Monday, May 21, at 11am.

She apologized to them for the numerous delays when informing them that they were being excused again and wished them a pleasant weekend.

The judge and counsel are still in private discussions concerning legal issues that have arisen since the trial began last Monday.

A policeman, Detective Constable 2290 Bruce Chisholm, presented alleged photographic evidence on a CD of the aftermath of the robbery.

However, his evidence raised concern for the defence attorneys of the accused.

Jerone Roberts, representing Armbrister, said that his client did not know whether or not the negatives were an exact replica of the images they were seeing in a photo album that was given to them and the jury.

He also said that it was irresponsible that the officer did not bring any equipment to allow them to see the evidence.

Collins' attorney, Geoffrey Farquharson, also objected to having the CD being admitted into evidence, claiming that prosecution did not provide this in the Voluntary Bill of Indictment, in light of the officer's testimony that the CD was produced on the day of the incident.

After excusing the jury, they had been in private discussions since then with defence attorney Jomo Campbell and prosecutor Sandradee Gardiner completing the round up of involved counsel.

The case resumes next Monday at 11am. The three accused were remanded in custody.
