LAST Thursday, the X Factor USA results show brought many surprises, including the return of contestant Diamond White. Judges Demi Lovato, Simon Cowell, L A Reid and Britney Spears decided they all made a mistake last week in sending Diamond home. They decided to bring her back into the competition in a surprising move, and gave the audience the top 13 instead of 12.
There were also special performances by X Factor UK winners and number one boy band One Direction, performing hit songs from “Little things” to “Crazy Crazy Crazy.” During last week’s elimination, the show was back to its top 12 as contestant Jason Brock was voted off the show after singing for survival with contestant CeCe Frey. A lot of changes came with this season’s X Factor, one being America’s voting shown in ranks from most popular votes to the lowest votes in for each contestant. Last week we saw the ranks from 12th place to 1st place. With contestant Tate Stevens receiving first place in the rankings, he told hosts Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian: “Obviously people in America don’t get out a lot,” as he smiled and thanked his fans for supporting him every week. Tune in tonight to catch the top 12 perform their hearts out, followed by an elimination episode tomorrow night.
From the most popular to the lowest votes, the ranks include: 12. CeCe Frey-Young Adults 11. Arin Ray-Teens 10: Beatrice Miller-Teens 9. Lyric 145-Groups 8. Paige Thomas-Young Adults 7.
