BETHEL’S Restoration Revival Centre has co-partnered with Jonathan L McKnight Ministries to present a series of events geared toward restoring the lives of many through prayer and worship.
The first event is Job Fair Conference and takes place over a span of two days. The event will feature intercessors, worshippers and prayer warriors.
Various pastors including Bishop Simeon Hall, will intercede through prayer during the conference beginning 7pm on November 28 at the Bethel’s Restoration Revival Centre.
The guest speaker for the Job Fair Conference is Jonathan McKnight senior pastor of the Sanctuary of Praise Ministries in Orlando, Florida. In addition to being an author, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, global philanthropist, Dr McKnight is also a regular host of Trinity Broadcasting Network’s “Praise the Lord”. He is also the author of “Prayer is a Must” and “I Did it in the Name of Love.
He will host a book signing at 100% Christian Bookstore at the Marathon Mall on November 29.
Pastor Lenora Sands of Bethel’s Restoration Revival Centre told Tribune Religion the purpose of the Job Fair Conference is to bring together Bahamians to pray for the unemployed and the restoration of the financial economy. She said prayer is a powerful force and it works.
“The church has been affected by the global financial crisis and with the event we are trying to engage the church to getting back in prayer and warfare for financial stability in not only our country but the global economy,” said Ms Sands.
“We hope that at the end of this our country will experience a stronger economic bliss and the spirit of recession and lack will disappear. We also hope that the saints at large will be encouraged and come to know the prayer works.”
The Night of Worship concert will also be held on the November 30 and will feature the BET Sunday’s Best past winners, including Joshua Rogers, Alexis Spight, Elder Goldwire McClendon and grammy award winning artist Brian Courtney Wilson. Other Bahamian artists will also be featured on that night, including Miss Daisy, DJ Counsellor Prophet Lawerence Rolle and Shaback.
Scouts from BET’s Sunday Best will also be searching for local talent, Pastor Sands said.
