CELEBRITY artist and Tribune cartoonist Jamaal Rolle was praised by Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg on the US morning TV show “Live with Kelly and Mike” yesterday morning.
The star and his family were in the Bahamas at the beginning of the month.
During yesterday’s broadcast, Mr Wahlberg talked about his time in the Bahamas, his meeting with the celebrity artist and how impressed he was with Jamaal’s work. The portrait done for Mr Wahlberg was also displayed during the broadcast.
The life-like portrait of Mr Wahlberg was a gift from Roni Duncombe of Distinguished Enterprises to the actor and was presented to him minutes before he and his family departed from the Executive Airport.
Wahlberg will be starring in ‘Pain and Gain’ with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson which will be released on April 26.
Jamaal has also drawn portraits of Prince Harry, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Sidney Poitier, Johnny Depp, Katy Perry, Justin Beiber, Michael Jordan, and Magic Johnson among many others.
