THE Beer of the Bahamas, Kalik, continues to support the National Family Island Regatta Committee, as the beautiful Elizabeth Harbour in Georgetown Exuma is readied to host arguably the biggest regatta of the season April 25-27.
“This is an historic year as Kalik marks 25 years, the nation celebrates its 40th Independence, and The National Family Island Regatta celebrates 60 years simultaneously. The National Family Island Regatta will feature boats from all major classes. Kalik is providing support to create the enjoyable atmosphere many have come to expect at regattas. This year’s regatta will offer fantastic Bahamian entertainment, mouth-watering Bahamian dishes and all of the wonderful festivities to make a memorable experience for all.
“Such an iconic regatta must be kept robust as it is indeed a main source of revenue for the locals on the island of Exuma,” says Jan Thurston, Kalik brand manager. “Whatever part we can play to ensure that this and all regattas flourish will be a priority for Kalik, as ‘Kalik Is Regatta.’
